I’d like you to join me on a casual stroll through some of Lewes’ finest corners. The plan’s to set out on two separate days for three hours, taking in interesting features and photographing them from different angles while learning new skills along the way. I have in mind plenty of nature, some amazing reflections, a bit of architecture and the beginnings of a sunset.
The two walks will be entirely different from one another and are likely to include destinations such as The Railway Land, The Priory, Southover Gardens and Pells Pool among other interesting features in town. If you decide you would like to take part in both walks, please let me know on the form below.
As we go along, I’ll go around the group and offer advice on areas that you might be struggling to get to grips with. Areas that might be covered include shutter speed, ISO, white balance, the rule of thirds, points of focus etc.
Each walk is limited to ten people so that I can have plenty of time to speak to everyone individually. I'd like it to be enjoyable for all and to have a FB page where those on the sessions can post some of their favourites from the outings after.
They are at slightly unusual times to make the most of the natural light.
For you to get the most out of the session/sessions, here are a few simple questions that will give me a rough idea of what you would like to learn.
